Government customers, led by the US Army and the wider Department of War, account for a little over half of revenue: $2.402 billion of the 2025 total. Palantir reported 4,401 full-time employees on 30 June 2026 in its latest quarterly filing, down slightly from 4,429 at the end of 2025. About 28% of the 2025 workforce was based outside the United States. The company also uses part-time staff, contractors and third-party personnel, which the headcount excludes.

Palantir Revenue and Financial Results

In its second-quarter release, Palantir said US government revenue grew 90% year over year to $809 million and US commercial revenue grew 149% to $764 million. Remaining deal value with government customers was $4.4 billion at the end of 2025. For the third quarter the company guided to revenue of $2.160 billion to $2.164 billion and for 2026 to $8.150 billion to $8.158 billion. Guidance is a company forecast, not a result.

How Does Palantir Work With the US Army and NATO?

Army enterprise agreement. On 31 July 2025 the Army announced a ten-year enterprise agreement with a ceiling of $10 billion, folding 75 separate contract vehicles into one, according to DefenseScoop. Breaking Defense reported that Palantir was prime on 15 of them and subcontractor on 60. The Army is not obliged to spend the full amount.

Maven Smart System. The Army signed a five-year contract of up to $480 million in May 2024, and the ceiling was raised to $1.3 billion in May 2025, DefenseScoop reported. A memo from Deputy Defense Secretary Steve Feinberg dated 9 March 2026 directed that the system become a formal programme of record by 30 September 2026, moving oversight from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to the Chief Digital and AI Officer’s office.

NATO. The NATO Communications and Information Agency finalised acquisition of Maven Smart System NATO on 25 March 2025 for Allied Command Operations, in a procurement it described as one of the fastest in alliance history. The value was not disclosed, per DefenseScoop.

TITAN. The Army selected Palantir in March 2024 to build the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node, which the company calls the Army’s first AI-defined vehicle. On 1 September 2026 the Army moved it into production with $192 million in awards, $127 million to Palantir and $65 million to Anduril, for eight ground stations over 18 months, Breaking Defense reported. Recent Palantir Contracts and Developments

On 24 September 2026 the Army awarded a Palantir subsidiary a competitively selected $48.1 million order to build ammunition management software, Defense News reported. The system is meant to replace nine separate legacy platforms and track munitions from planning and procurement through storage, distribution, expenditure and disposal, using commercial low-code and no-code tools that work in disconnected or low-bandwidth settings. It has a 12-month base period for development and fielding and up to five option years. The Army cited inaccurate forecasting and disconnected digital systems as the problem it wants to fix.
