USSOCOM Buys Tekever Uncrewed Aerial Systems

Tekever said US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has purchased the company’s uncrewed aerial systems. The systems are built for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR); the model, quantity and value were not disclosed.
What Tekever Announced
According to the company’s 26 October 2026 press release, datelined Fayetteville, North Carolina, the purchase followed validation and acceptance testing. The system combines the air vehicle, mission-specific payloads, communications technology and AI-enabled mission software in one package. The release says dedicated training was given to USSOCOM personnel and an extensive flight programme was run at several locations, which were not named.
CEO Ricardo Mendes called the procurement an important milestone in a relationship built over time.

Which Model?
The release names no model. Tekever said in March 2025 that it completed an operational exercise with USSOCOM at Camp Roberts, California, using the AR3 in an electronic-warfare environment, but it did not say whether the AR3 is what was purchased. Technical specifications and quantities are therefore left out.
Tekever’s Other Government Customers
According to DroneXL’s tally, Tekever’s 2026 government customers include the Portuguese Air Force (AR5 order), the British Army (CORVUS, up to £400 million) and the Bundeswehr (first system delivered). See our earlier report on the UK AR5 decision (in Turkish).
Note
The information rests on the company’s own press release; there is no independent US government statement or contract value.
