Securex Caspian Marks Its 15th Edition Alongside ADEX in Baku
Securex Caspian opened its 15th edition on September 30 at the Baku Expo Center, running side by side with ADEX 2026 through October 2. The internal security show gives the week in Baku a second track, covering policing, emergency response and cybersecurity while the defense exhibition fills the neighboring halls.
Defense Industry Minister Vugar Mustafayev opened both exhibitions together, reading a congratulatory message from President Ilham Aliyev, according to APA. The two shows share the venue and their visitor flow, and together they put 53 countries’ worth of exhibitors and delegations in one complex.

This year’s program leans into cybersecurity and emergency response demonstrations, reflecting where internal security budgets across the region are moving. For exhibitors, the pairing with ADEX is the draw: interior ministries and civil protection agencies walk the same halls as defense delegations, and suppliers whose products straddle the two markets, from drones to secure communications, only need one stand.
Fifteen editions also make Securex the older franchise of the two. The security show predates ADEX and gave the organizers, Caspian Event Organisers, the platform on which the defense exhibition was built in 2014; pairing them has been the formula ever since. The overlap between the two visitor bases keeps growing, because the technologies do: counter-drone defense, border surveillance and cyber protection sit on both shows’ floors and in both kinds of ministry budget.
One venue, two markets
The combined event has become the Caspian region’s busiest security week. The organizers count 280 exhibiting companies and organizations across the two shows, and 59 official delegations attended the opening day.
